Donovan Kates Signs First Pro Contract

Former Christian Co star and Manhattan standout Donovan Kates signs first pro contract in the ABA. Kates won a state championship at Christian Co, and scored over 800 points in his career at Manhattan. Donovan also played on two NCAA Tournament teams at Manhattan. Kates played in the Kentuckiana Pro Am this summer, and signed with SBS Services partner David Gonzalez (Free Agency Basketball). Kates will stay close to home and play for the Bowling Green team in the ABA. Bowling Green will play all of its home games at Diddle Arena, and is coached by well respected minor league coach Kevin Keathley.
