6-7 Power Forward DeMondre Harvey Signs in Finland

Free Agency Basketball and SBS have placed yet another player at the pro level. Former Louisiana Monroe (NCAA Div. 1) power forward DeMondre Harvey has signed to play in Finland. Free Agency scout Michael Stinnett was told about Harvey by Victor Morris (current director of basketball operations at Cleveland State). Stinnett actually got Morris his first pro job in Germany when he graduated from Cleveland State. Harvey had some big ball games at ULM last year, and was a consistent scorer and rebounder. He has signed with OULUN NMKY in the Finnish first division. Coach Jussi Eskola liked DeMondre after watching his video immediately, and thinks he will have a big impact for his team. FIBA agent David Gonzalez negotiated the contract, and Harvey signed yesterday. Harvey will leave Friday for Finland and play his first game this Saturday.
