Free Agency Client Gavin Schumann Signs in France

Gavin Schumann (Southern Indiana 15) has signed in France with ESC Trappes. Schumann played high school basketball at Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, Ohio) and then played at Sinclair JC for two years. He had a great final two years of college at the University of Southern Indiana (19.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.5apg). Schumann then attended the SBS Pro Invitational in April after his senior season at USI, and was a standout performer. He then signed with Free Agency Basketball based out of Spain. Since he has played pro basketball in the ABA, MPBA, Senegal, and most recently in Spain. In Spain in 2016-17 he averaged 15.2ppg with Huelva. He also has attended SBS Workouts in Louisville, Las Vegas, and most recently was named MVP of the SBS Cincinnati Pro Workout last October. "Gavin is a true pro who keeps grinding and a break came is way. He can play the game and I look forward to him having a great season in France. Every time you look on social media he is in a gym or conditioning somewhere, so he is very deserving of this new job. Schumann is now the 6th Free Agency player to sign for the 2018-19 season, and he joins another USI product in Jeril Taylor (BBL Giessen/Germany) as one of the six.
