Burgess Signs in Spain

January 11, 2019

6-6 Skyler Burgess has signed with Club Deportivo Baloncesto Enrique Benítez in Spain. Burgess played college basketball at NCAA Division 3 Pacific and last year played professionally in Spain. Burgess responded to an opening on the SBS Pro Job page on Facebook and sent his profile to the Free Agency staff (FIBA Agent David Gonzalez and Michael Stinnett). His information was sent to Club Deportivo Baloncesto Enrique Benítez and they liked him and the deal is official. "We are really glad we could help Skyler get back to Spain and to continue his pro career. He was just what Club Deportivo Baloncesto Enrique Benítez was looking for so it was good for everyone. He is a very versatile forward who will be a great addition to their team. He will join another Free Agency Client BJ Gladden on the team." said Free Agency Director of Scouting Michael Stinnett. Burgess is now the 36th player that Free Agency/SBS has sent overseas to play for the 2018-19 season.
