Free Agency Client Brian Stone Signs in Portugal

Brian Stone (6-8 Power Forward) has signed to play with Electrico FC in Portugal's top division. Stone played high school basketball in Kentucky at Martha Lane Collins High School under Coach Chris Gaither, and then played college basketball at Malone University under Coach Casey Kaufman. His senior year at Malone he averaged 15.2 points per game and led NCAA Division 2 in FG% at 71.7%. Last season Stone played in Spain for Gijon Basket and averaged 15.7 points per game and 6 rebounds and shot 61% from the field. "I have liked Brian's game since high school, and then he only got better and better in college. He has a knack for putting the ball in the basket with consistency. This is a great job for his career, anytime you can play in a top league in a country. He will do well" said Michael Stinnett. Stone is the 20th Free Agency player to sign a pro contract this season.
