Lavone Holland Signs with Free Agency Basketball

Free Agency Basketball is excited to announce the signing of 6-3 Guard Lavone Holland. Holland was named to the 1st Team All Luxembourg team last year, as well as Guard of the Year. He helped lead Musel Pikes to a great year in the Total League (Runner Up Finish Regular Season and Cup Final). He averaged 20.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.6 steals.

In 2018-19 he played in top league Holland for 19 games for Den Helder before returning home for a family emergency. He averaged 15.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.6 steals.

In college he played for NCAA Division 1 Northern Kentucky and had an amazing career. He finished ranked 19th all time in scoring with 1,250 points, 7th in total assists (396), 5th in assists (4.2), 19th in steals (108), and 38th in rebounds (362). He was recently named to the ALL DECADE team for the Horizon League Conference. During his career he was named MVP of the Horizon League Conference Tournament and also to the All Conference Team. He was the only player in the conference to average double figures in scoring (13.8ppg), and more than 4 assists and 4 rebounds per game. Complete run down of Northern Kentucky career

In high school Holland played at legendary Ballard High School for Coach Chris Renner. His teammates were NBA player Kelan Martin (Minnesota Timberwolves) and current overseas standout Quentin Snider who recently signed in top league Cyprus with AEK Larnaca.
