David Wren Signs with Beira-Mar in Portugal

Free Agency Basketball is excited to announce that David Wren from NCAA Division 2 Lake Superior State has signed with Beira-Mar in the Portugal CN1 league. Wren is a 6-3 guard who just completed a solid career at Lake Superior State for Coach Steve Hettinga. Last season he averaged right at 10 points per game and 3 rebounds and shot 36% from 3. Wren had 1293 points, 515 rebounds, and 255 assists in his college career. He attended the SBS/Free Agency Pro Exposure Workout/Workshop last April and played well. Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting) kept in touch with David and offered him to teams all summer and Beira-Mar liked what they saw.

Wren played junior college ball at Schoolcraft College and high school basketball at Huron High in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

"David Wren is an example of being organized and professional in the process. He always submitted paperwork on time as well as film. He also is a very solid player and now will begin his pro basketball career. I am excited for him and glad we could help him because he is what we stand for as a service to help quality players and people play pro basketball" said Michael Stinnett.
