6-9 4/5 Desmond Ringer from Mercer University Signs with Free Agency Basketball
Free Agency wants to welcome Desmond Ringer to the Free Agency Basketball family. Desmond is a 6-9 250 pound 4/5 who had a great career at NCAA Division 1 Mercer University. He averaged 9.2 points per game and 5.6 rebounds his senior year on a balanced Mercer team. He also shot 59% from the field and 82% from the FT line. He was a three year starter at Mercer and had excellent stats all three years as a starter. He had 22 points vs Furman this season, and also 12 rebounds vs Samford. He recently was a standout at the Free Agency/SBS Orlando Pro Workout as well. "Desmond is an excellent 4/5 who had an amazing career at Mercer. His stats are very consistent and his shooting percentages were excellent from the Field and FT Line. I really like his overall feel and understanding of the game. He has a great low post game and can finish with either hand well. He also can play the pick and roll game well. Plus, he is an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor. He will make someone a great rookie pro. Desmond is a high character guy and a leader who I was very impressed with in Orlando" said Michael Stinnett Free Agency Director of Scouting. Free Agency President David Gonzalez received the representation papers this afternoon. Free Agency will conclude signing players next Friday, and it will be time to get jobs for all returning and new players. *See Desmond Ringer Highlight Video Below!
