Rookie Desmond Ringer Signs in Top League Latvia (LBL)

Free Agency Basketball/SBS would like to announce the signing of 6-9 Power Forward Desmond Ringer (Mercer University 2018) with BK LIEPAJAS. BK LIEPAJAS will play in top league Latvia (LBL) this season. Ringer just finished a solid career at NCAA Division 1 Mercer and played for a great coach in Bob Hoffman. He averaged 9.2ppg, 5.6rpg, 57% FG, 80% FT at Mercer last season. Ringer was a standout at the SBS Orlando Pro Invitational held in April and after signed an agency contract with FIBA Agent David Gonzalez (Free Agency Basketball/Spain). He recently was named to the KPA Vegas Pro Summer League All League Team and was the leading rebounder in the event with a game high of 17 rebounds in a game. "I love Desmond as a player and more importantly as a person. He is a first class human being and hard worker who deserves this quality opportunity. His family and the Mercer coaching staff have been great in the process. Also, Coach Arturs Stalbergs really likes Desmond and has big plans for him this season.
