Faith Pope Signs with Kordall Steelers in Luxembourg

Free Agency Client Faith Pope has signed to play with the Kordall Steelers in Luxembourg. Pope played high school basketball at Mount Pleasant (Iowa) High School and then attended Tyler Junior College. He then had a solid career at NCAA Division 1 UT-Arlington for Coach Scott Cross. Last season in his first pro season at UPB Gandia in Spain, he was named MVP of Group E in the EBA. He also was named to the EBA All League team and his team was regular season champions. Pope averaged 19.5 point and 7.2 rebounds a game for Gandia. It also needs to be noted that Pope was found by Free Agency at the 2017 SBS Dallas Pro Workout held in April. He also attended the KPA Vegas Pro Summer League in 2017 and was named to the KPA All League team. "I told Coach John Tinsley in Dallas after Faith's first shot he was our guy. He agreed and David Gonzalez offered him an agency contract and he signed. Since the process has been steady for Faith Pope. Last year he took care of business in Spain and had an amazing overall year. We have had great interest over the last few days for Pope but Kordall brought to the table the best offer. Faith is such a versatile player for his size. He can play the 3 or 4 and can guard any position. He also understands the game very well and has been well coached. This is just another positive step in the progression of his career. He will have a great year in Luxembourg" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).

*Pope becomes the 14th Free Agency Player to Sign for the 2018-19 season with many more announcements coming soon.
