Ge-Lawn Guyn Signs in Germany
Former Scott Co. High School and East Tennessee State star Ge-Lawn Guyn has signed to play in Germay with TVI Basketball Ibbenbueren. Guyn averaged 18.5 points per game and 4 rebounds his senior season in college at ETSU and was named first team All Conference. Recently he was a standout at the SBS Louisville Pro Invitational in April and also was named all league at the KPA Vegas Pro Summer League (July 6-8). "Guyn is a warrior and hungry. He came to Louisville and Vegas with the same mentality and that was to play with 100% effort and passion. He can shoot it from 3 and also create his shot in a variety of ways. Defensively he is a lock down defender that can guard multiple positions because of his strength and athleticism. David and I are extremely excited for Ge-Lawn! He will take advantage of this opportunity and have a great career overseas. He is a special player." said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting). Guyn makes the 18th Free Agency player to sign a pro contract for the 18-19 season with several announcements coming in the next few days.
