BJ Gladden Signs in Spain

Free Agency Client 6-6 B.J. Gladden (Georgia Southern 18) has signed to play in Spain with CDB Enrique Benitez. Gladden recently was named to the KPA Vegas Summer League All League team and got good reviews from the Spanish coaches who coached in the league (Coach Agusti Julbi (Fuenlabrada) and Coach Xevi Pujol (Manresa). Gladden was a standout player at Olympic High School in Charlotte North Carolina. He then attended East Florida State JC and had a great season. His last two years of college he played NCAA Division 1 basketball at Georgia Southern. He attended the SBS Louisville Pro Invitational in April and caught the eye of Free Agency Basketball scouts Michael Stinnett and John Tinsley. "B.J. is an excellent player. He played well at the SBS Louisville workout but really showed what he can do at the KPA Vegas Summer League in July. He was a standout in Vegas and showed his overall game. He is a very versatile player who can play inside and outside. He is a strong athlete who has a good fundamental skill set. David Gonzalez offered him agency contract after Vegas and we knew we could find him a place to begin his pro career. CDB Enrique Benitez will be a great start to his pro career and with a good year he can really have a great pro career" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting). Gladden will join Free Agency client Colton Lewis at CDB Enrique Benitez. Gladden becomes the 20th Free Agency player to sign a pro contract for the 2018-19 season.Team Article:
