Fred Moore Signs in Portugal
Free Agency Client 6-7 Forward Fred Moore has signed to play with Sport Club Beira-Mar in Proliga Portugal. This will be Fred Moore's first pro job as he recently completed his college career at Shawnee State University. He averaged 15.3 points and 7.7 rebounds last season at Shawnee State. Moore was a 1000 point scorer at Shawnee State and was named All Mid-South Conference his junior and senior year. He also was a standout player at Roger Bacon High School (same high school as Free Agency Client Gavin Schumann) in Cincinnati. In April he attended the SBS Louisville Pro Invitational and was a standout performer. He then signed an agency agreement with Free Agency Basketball (Spain). In July he attended the KPA Vegas Pro Summer League and had a very good showing and was named to the KPA All League team. "Coach John Tinsley and I liked Fred a lot at the SBS Louisville Pro Invitational in April. Then, after we watched his college video we knew he was a potential pro. He can do a lot of things for his size and I think with added strength he can have a great overseas career. He had some great stretches in the KPA Vegas Summer League in July and really showed his versatility. I feel Beira-Mar will be a great start for him and he will be called upon to do a lot of things. He is a high character guy who has a strong work ethic and this what makes him special" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting). Moore makes the 21st Free Agency Player to sign for the 2018-19 season.
