Jordan Garnett Signs in Top League Cyprus

Free Agency Client Jordan Garnett has signed to play his rookie season in Cyprus Division A with Omonia Nicosia. Garnett recently completed a solid career at NCAA Division 1 Northern Kentucky University. He was a starter on the Horizon League Tournament NKU Championship team that went to the NCAA Tournament and last season on the NKU team that won the Horizon League regular season championship. He is from Indianapolis, Indiana and was a standout at Warren Central High School. In April he attended the Free Agency/SBS Louisville Pro Workout and was a top 5 player in the event. He was offered an agency contract by David Gonzalez with Free Agency Basketball (Spain) and signed soon afterwards. This summer he attended the KPA Vegas Pro Summer League and was named to the honorable mention team in the event. "Jordan Garnett can play and has the skill set to be a high level player in Europe. Coach Nikolas Papadopoulos (Head Coach Omonia Nicosia) feels the same way as I do about Jordan and when he called me about him we were on the same page. Garnett is a solid 3 position player who can guard several positions and offensively he can score it on the drive, from 3, or in the post. This is a great situation for Jordan and we are very excited for him. His dad Anthony was great in the process and this is well deserved" said Michael Stinnett (Director of Scouting for Free Agency Basketball). Garnett makes the 22nd Free Agency player to sign for the 2018-19 season.
