Jimmy Kodet Signs in Germany
Jimmy Kodet (6-7 Forward) has signed to play in Germany with TV Goldbach. Kodet was a standout last season at NCAA Division 2 Valdosta State. He averaged 11 points and 6.4 rebounds per game and shot 41% from the 3 point line for a 26-5 Valdosta State team. After the season Kodet attended the Free Agency/SBS Orlando Pro Workout and did very well. Coach Stinnett has stayed in touch with Jimmy since that workout last April and now he is a pro. Free Agency President David Gonzalez and Michael Stinnett both felt Jimmy had pro ability and worked hard to find him a job. "I am really happy for Jimmy. This will be a good situation for him to begin his career and to develop his game. I was really impressed with his athleticism and overall game in Orlando. We continued to work for him and he trusted the process and he is now on his way to Germany. I am excited for him to get started" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting). Kodet is the 35th player that Free Agency/SBS has sent to the pro ranks for the 2018-19 season.
