Gabe King Signs with Free Agency Basketball

Free Agency Basketball is excited to announce the signing of 6-5 SF Gabe King. King played his high school basketball at Irene-Wakonda High School and just finished a great career at NCAA Division 2 power Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Overall in his career he finished with 1,260 career points and is the all time leader in games played with 135. He also finished second in overall FT shooting percentage at 86.8%.

King just finished a great senior year on a 26-6 Northern State team. He was named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All League Team. He averaged 12.1ppg, 5.0rpg, and 1.4apg this season. He shot 41.3% from the 3pt. line (66-160) and 88.7% from the free throw line.

2018-19: Started all 33 games for the Wolves… Averaged 11.5 points per game, scoring 381 total points… Tallied 134 rebounds, 56 assists, 14 blocks, and ten steals… Led the team with 54 made 3-pointers… Shot 50.6 percent from the floor, 43.2 percent from the 3-point line, and a team high 88.7 percent from the foul line… Recorded career highs in points (23), rebounds (8), assists (6), and steals (3)… Named to the NSIC All-Conference honorable mention team… Honored on the NSIC/Sanford Health Basketball Tournament All-Tournament team… 2017-18 [NCAA National Finalist]: Appeared in all 40 games, making 38 starts for the Wolves… Averaged 8.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game… Shot 46.5 percent from the floor, 41.3 percent from the arc, and 81.7 percent from the foul line… Recorded 334 points, 131 rebounds, 44 assists, 25 blocks, and 15 steals… Scored a career high 21 points versus Bemidji State… Tallied 13 games in double figure scoring and 17 games shooting 50.0 percent or better from the floor… Second on the team in 3-point field goals made… "David Gonzalez (President of FA Basketball/FIBA Agent) and I are very excited to represent Gabe King.
