6-3 Guard Jalen Gibbs Signs with Free Agency Basketball

Free Agency Basketball is excited to announce the signing of 6-3 Guard Jalen Gibbs from NCAA Division 1 Jacksonville State University. JSU won the Atlantic Sun Championship this season and played in the NCAA Tournament. Gibbs averaged 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists this season. He shot 40.3% (77-191) from behind the 3pt. line and 78.2% from the free throw line. He had some great individual performances this season as well (40 vs. Elon, 22 vs. Bellarmine, and 20 vs Auburn in the NCAA Tournament).

Previous to JSU he was a standout at NCAA Division 1 Mount Saint Mary's. He averaged 16.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.3spg in the 2020-21 season. In 2019-20 he averaged 11.2ppg, 3.6rpg, and 1.4apg. The 2018-19 he averaged 12.9ppg, 5.1rpg, and 1.6apg.

"David Gonzalez (Free Agency Basketball President/FIBA Agent) and I are really excited about this signing. Jalen Gibbs is a solid all around guard who can flat out shoot the basketball. I got to see him play several times this season and love his overall game and especially and how it can carry over to the next level. He played for one of the best coaches in the business in Ray Harper at JSU and he had nothing but good things to say about Jalen on and off the court. Coach Harper described Jalen as a warrior who loves the game and who can score it a high level. Any team looking for an excellent guard on both ends of the floor need to give Jalen a good look. I feel his upside is off the charts in pro basketball" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
