Charlie Cochran Signs in Portugal

Free Agency client Charlie Cochran (6-7 4/3 ) has signed with Olivais Futebol Clube in Portugal CN1 league. Cochran just completed a solid career for Coach Raul Placeres at Maryville College in Tennessee. He averaged 12.4 points and 6.8 rebounds last season at Maryville. He also played two seasons at East Texas Baptist University. Cochran played high school basketball at Collins in Kentucky for Coach Chris Gaither.

Cochran recently attended the SBS/Free Agency Pro Exposure Workout last April and signed with Free Agency shortly after.

"David and I are really excited for Charlie and think he will have a great season. I was really impressed with him at the workout and other times I saw him this summer. He is very skilled and shoots the ball really well from 3pt. line. He understands the game and Emanuel Monteiro Seco of Olivais saw that in him and really likes him. Cochran will arrive in Portugal soon to begin pre-season practice" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
