Darrin Jenkins Signs in Portugal
Free Agency client Darrin Jenkins (6-4 Guard) has signed his first pro job in Portugal with Futebol Clube de Gaia. Jenkins just completed his college career at the Univeristy of West Florida. Prior to West Florida he played three seasons at Martin Methodist and was named to the All Mid South Conference First Team (18.0 ppg and 5.6 rpg). He played one year of JC at Southwest Illinois Junior College. He played high school basketball at Harrison County High School in Kentucky.
He recently attended the SBS/Free Agency Pro Exposure Workout last April and played well and then signed with Free Agency Basketball.
"David Gonzalez and I are really excited for Darrin. He is a long guard who can score from all three levels and can defend very well. He is perfect for Gaia and will have a good season" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
