"David Gonzalez (Free Agency President and FIBA Agent) and I are really excited to sign JoMel. He comes out of a great Division 2 program in Kentucky Wesleyan who we have had several players from over the years. We love his potential and feel he can be a solid pro. He has an excellent all-around game for his size. He also has a great work ethic and shows a great passion for the game and wants to make a career of it. He is perfect for team looking for small forward who can do a little bit of it all." Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
