Marquavian Stephens Signs in Portugal

6-3 Guard Marquavian Stephens has signed with Fuetol Clube Barreirense in Proliga Portgual. Stephens just completed a great career at Saskatchewan in Canada. He averaged 20.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists. He was also named to the All Canada West Team and the U Sports Tournament All Star team.

"Pro Scout Dane Morris told us of Marquavian and we secured him a job with FC Barreirense. David Gonzalez and I liked his video and his size for a guard. He can do a lot of things and we feel is going to be a great pro. He will play his first game this weekend this in Portugal and we expect him to do very well" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
