Desean Murray Signs with Avanti Mondorf in Luxembourg
Free Agency Basketball client Desean Murray has signed his first pro contract with Avanti Mondorf in Luxembourg. He was a standout player at NCAA Division 1 Auburn and Presbyterian. The 6-4 Murray was a starter and averaged 10.1 points and 6.7 rebounds (6th in SEC) on the Auburn SEC regular season championship team in 2018. Previous to Auburn he was a an All Conference player at NCAA Div. 1 Presbyterian averaging 20.2ppg and 7.4 rpg. "David Gonzalez and I are really excited for Desean. Yves Braun (GM of Avanti Mondorf) really liked Desean and made a good offer for him to get his career back started. New Avanti Mondorf Coach Philip Dejworek also liked Desean a great deal. Both Yves and Coach Dejworek had some good conversations with Desean. I feel he will be an excellent player in Luxembourg. I think the management of Avanti have given a future star in Europe a chance to get his career back started again. We are appreciative of the opportunity.
