Free Agency Clients Troy Steward and Darryl Palmer Drafted in IBL Indonesia League

Free Agency clients Troy Steward (Georgetown College 2019) and Darryl Palmer (South Carolina State 2016) were drafted yesterday in the IBL (Indonesia) Draft. The draft consisted of 186 players and 30 players were selected overall. This marked the first year that Free Agency Basketball (President/FIBA Agent David Gonzalez and Director of Scouting Michael Stinnett) entered players into the IBL Draft.

Palmer was selected 19th overall by DEWA UNITED SURABAYA. Palmer currently is finishing with Frente Sur Rivas in the LSB Nicaragua league. Last night he had 17 points and 14 rebounds and was named MVP of a first round playoff game. "Darryl is playing well and I feel will do great in the IBL. He is playing really well right now. He is 4th overall in rebounding in Nicaragua and is scoring it from all over the floor" said Michael Stinnett Free Agency Director of Scouting.

Steward was selected 20th overall by DNA BIMA PERKASA JOGJA. Steward was an NAIA All American and National Champion at Georgetown College in Kentucky. He played his rookie pro year in Georgia. "Troy is going to be great in Indonesia. David and I are really high on him as a player and person. His coach will be a good friend of mine and veteran professional coach Dean Murray. Coach Murray has coached at all levels of the game (NCAA D1, Japan, China, Taiwan, NBA GLeague, Bahrain, Lithuania, and Korea). He really likes Troy because he can flat shoot the basketball and has a great upside in all other areas of the game. Troy Steward can score the ball and has a great feel for the game. We are excited for him" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
